Mr. Bingley and Mr. Darcy at Longbourn

This past evening, my dear nephew and Mr. Bingley dined with the Bennets at their home. It is to my disappointment that Mrs. Bennet did not treat Darcy as equally as Mr. Bingley.
Is she not aware that it was Mr. Darcy who saved her family from a social demise? Had it not been for the kindness of my nephew (which I can still not comprehend why he did this), the Bennets would be a disgrace. I think she's still distraught that Elizabeth refused him; however, she needs to let it go because Mr. Darcy is my Anne's now (better luck to Elizabeth somewhere else).
Anyway, now that that has been taken care of, the lady has spoken.

  1. I will agree that Elizabeth's mother is quite foolish; she always has been. Soon she will realize who paid off Wickham's debts, but that is not a great concern of mine. An imperfect family will not stop my love for Elizabeth. I plan on spending the rest of my life with her<3

  2. I agree that she treated me with more attention because she is foolish about not knowing that Darcy has paid the debts off. She will soon know.

  3. i think Darcy's actions were out of Love.I do believe Mrs.Bennet was a bit foolish. She should have treated Darcy much better. In the end,we all pay for our actions.

  4. I AGREE I YOUR SAYING THAT MR.DARCY HAS HELPED OUR FAMILY GREATLY. I DO HAVE TO SAY I AM SORRY IN THE WAY MY MOTHER TREATED MR. DARCY. IT IS JUST THAT SOMETIMES MY MOTHER DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO ACT WITH OTHERS JUST AS YOU. AND I HAVE LET GO OF YOUR NEPHEW AND IT IS HE WHO CANT LET GO OF ME.

  5. I was very pleased with my dinner visit! I don't know how Darcy currently feels, but the situation was easily viewed as "unfair". I hope things clear up soon!

  6. On behalf of my mother, I dearly appologize she did not treat Mr.Darcy very well. I can't control the things she says. Darcy did not deserve that; in fact, he deserves all the hapiness in the world. I know, I should of realized that a long time ago, and I will forever regret my decision.

  8. Lady Catherine, I do know that my mother has hread about Mr. Darcy's involvment in Lydia's marriage. My mother has a strong dislike for your nephew; almost like mine a couple months ago. She is also a little upset with me for refusing his hand in marriage. I was very disappointed with my mother when she just about ignored Mr. Darcy.

  9. Lady Catherine, we all know how your words just spill out of your mouth, but please keep them to yourself because nobody is interested in your opinions.
