Elizabeth? At Pemberley!?

I have just received word that Elizabeth is at Pemberley, and Darcy is currently not home. I'm not pleased. Yes, she's only touring, but I don't think Darcy will be ecstatic to hear that the girl who has severed his heart in two is touring his manor without his knowledge. I wonder if she will travel up here near Rosings.
*sigh*
That would mean I would possibly have to host them for dinner and such. Quite frankly, I don't think I'm the mood for such events to ensue. I hope she has a splendid time at Pemberley and only at Pemberley.
Until another time, the lady has spoken

  1. I too do not know why Lizzy is coming to Pemberely. We did not end on the best of terms after the rejected proposal, and I think she should stay at home instead of visiting me. I told why I broke up Jane and Mr. Bingley, and maybe she is coming to yell at me.

  2. I think it's wonderful how Lizzy is visiting Mr. Darcy's home. It may not be the most polite way to enter into someone's residence, but I'm sure Lizzy has her reasons.
I'm sorry that you're not in the happiest of moods, but think positively Lady Catherine! Perhaps if she does indeed travel up to Rosings she could bring your dear nephew with her.

  3. Lady Catherine, I am glad that Mr. Darcy is not home, for if he was I would never go there. Do not worry about having to entertain us fore we will not be staying long if we do get to Rosings. Mrs. Gardiner is taking me around Brighton instead of going to the Lakes like we had planned. I do hope to see them soon.

  4. Lady Catherine, I am aware that Mr.Darcy would not be pleased to see me arrive at his estate, which is why I will be visiting during his absence. However, I look forward to touring his home; I'm sure it is one of the most extravagent and tasteful homes in the county.

  5. I too have heard this news. It seems odd of her to do even that. But I do somewhat take offense to your words Lady Catherine. Remind me NOT to invite you over for dinner anytime soon.

  6. Lady Catherine I'm am very confused with why you are interfering with my business that in fact has nothing at all to do with you. Please as a favor to all, don't stick your nose somewhere it doesn't belong.

  8. Oh Lady Catherine, you never seize to frustrate me. I am confused at what this has to concern you? There is no logical reason why should would come back to Rosings. Her visit to Pemberely will not inflict any suffering upon you nor Darcy.

  9. Is it your business at all to be worried with what I am doing? If you stayed out of everyones business, maybe you wouldn't be 'concerned' with so many things. I will have a splended time in Pemberley, thank you Lady Catherine. You have spoken, but no one really cares. (No offence.)
