Discovered!

It appears to me that Miss. Lydia and Mr. Wickham have been found by Mr. Gardiner in London. Although they are not yet marrying, they are demanding money in exchange for a marriage.
Oh, that silly Lydia child! Does she not have a brain? I suppose if this is the only way to keep the Bennets from losing it all then it must be done.  It is also known that Wickham will be quitting the militia and moving North with Lydia once they return.
I am not very moved by his actions; however, I am thankful he is not marrying my daughter. I remember I felt this same exact way when he attempted to run off with my dear niece, Georgiana.
Well, my duty calls, so for now, the lady has spoken.

  1. Lady Catherine,

The truth is, I an the one who found Lydia and Wickham. I was also the one who paid Wickham a good sum of money to marry Lydia. I wanted to spare the Bennet family from the ambarrassment Wickham would have caused them. I did all this because of my love for Elizabeth. I hope you will one day accept the woman I love.

  2. It's good to hear Lydia is ok.I must agree that asking for money is a bit foolish.I must say that this will benefit the Bennet's since Lydia's marriage is what Mrs.Bennet has always wanted.I hope that their having been found brings peace to the Bennet home.

  3. Yes Wickham and Lydia have been found and yes they are not married yet but will soon be. I really wish Lydia wouldn't marry him because he is not the right guy for her.and it is true they will be moving north and he will quit the militia.having found her and knowing she is ok has brought peace to our family.

  4. I am glad to hear they are ok. Although asking for money was a bit out of question. I hope to see them both soon.

  5. Everyone is happy now, and I think we should leave it at that instead of thinking bad of everything. Lydia is with the man she loves, our family can live in peace, and my mother finally got what she wanted. I told Wickham to keep his past behind him, for I am not like a sister to him. It could of turned out worse, so thank goodness for the outcome we recieved.
